I have been supporting Autistic children, teens, and adults since 2021, beginning with music therapy and later integrating trauma-informed, experiential psychotherapy approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and somatic work.
I view many behaviors not as problems to eliminate, but as protective adaptations that developed for good reasons. Together, we explore the emotions that arise in different situations, helping clients understand their protective strategies while strengthening their connection to their emotions, bodily sensations, and authentic Self.
Rather than focusing on masking or changing who someone is, I aim to create a space where clients can better understand their nervous system, increase self-compassion, and develop ways of responding that feel more aligned with their values and needs.
While Autism is my primary area of expertise, I also work with individuals with ADHD. My approach emphasizes understanding each person’s unique regulatory needs, exploring practical strategies for emotional and nervous system regulation, executive functioning, and self-awareness.
I also recognize that many people with ADHD carry the impact of chronic criticism, misunderstanding, or unrealistic expectations from family, school, and culture.
Together, we explore how these experiences may have shaped protective patterns, self-beliefs, and emotional responses, while supporting clients in building greater self-understanding and self-trust.
